The factory made wind mills can cost around three thousand dollars for just an entry level one. But you can make a wind mill of your own by just spending a little more than two hundred dollars. The things you should do in order to attain this includes making a plan and doing some home work. The things you should set up in order to make a wind mill are:

1) Generator blades: The finest materials to use in the making these blades are ABS or PVC pipes. They are strong but light, and are easily available.

2) Generator: We can make use of a simple DC motor with small RPM. A DC motor usually takes in electricity and in turn rotates its shaft. But when you are rotating the shaft in the opposite direction you can produce electricity.
